VHA Holiday Drive supports Client Families who need it most this Winter Season
Each holiday season, VHA Home HealthCare’s Human Resources team coordinates efforts to support a number of client families who are part of Community Support programming (CSP).
This year, CSP identified 7 families, and a total of 25 children who need support to help make a challenging winter season more merry and bright through donations from VHA’s head office staff and Board of Directors.
As a not-for-profit, charitable organization, VHA is committed to serving the most vulnerable in the community. VHA’s CSP team delivers community support programs through its own charitable resources and with the support of funding partners—including United Way and City of Toronto.
A wish list for moms and dads, 12 girls, 7 boys and 6 newborns was created listing items like children’s winter coats, clothing, toys and activities and gift cards for essential items like groceries.
Over the holiday season, an amazing group of VHA volunteers will be delivering the items to client homes.
On behalf of all of us at VHA, we’d like to thank our team members and volunteers who helped make this year’s holiday drive a success.
