VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) is committed to sponsoring promising young scientists to engage in research that will diversify the research capacity and expertise in the home and community sector. Each year through the Graduate Research Award, VHA offers scholarships valued at $5000 to up to three graduate students whose work is aligned with the strategic vision of VHA Research:

• Better Care: Transforming the care we provide
• Safer Team: Transforming our teams through workplace safety and professional growth
• More Connected: Transforming the healthcare system through integrated care and data in the service of learning and driving improvements in the clinical, organization, and system level.

Applications for the 2022-2023 term are now open until August 14, 2022 at 11:59PM. Eligible candidates must: be enrolled or accepted into a full-time Master’s or PhD program (research based); interested in collaborating and learning about home and community care; and maintain an excellent academic record.
