What we do

Innovation focuses on applying a strategic foresight lens to home healthcare’s innovation landscape and identifying, deploying and evaluating home healthcare technologies with age-tech innovators who share our goal of better care for our clients and communities.

VHA Home HealthCare (VHA)'s innovation team works to bring the future of home care closer by enabling the adoption of technologies that create a better homecare experience.

Far too often homecare technologies are not well-adapted to the needs of our clients, nor are they accessible to those who need them most. As such our process is to:

  1. Identify new and emerging technologies
  2. Deploy them in real-world settings
  3. Gather valuable end-user feedback from the community
  4. Evaluate technologies to ensure they provide promising services
  5. Improve the innovations and quality of care for our clients and communities

Our responsive, tech focused innovation portfolio, directed by clients and families and grounded in implementation science, has realized meaningful advancements towards delivering on the promise of a technology enabled homecare system. VHA's innovation team focuses on deploying technology that preserves independence and promotes healthy aging in the community for our clients and their families.
