Emmelie Mohammed is a Research Assistant at VHA Home HealthCare.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from Queen’s University. Emmelie is dedicated to advancing knowledge on the occupational and mental health of home and community care providers through literature reviews, data collection, and qualitative and quantitative analyses.

Her recent work evaluates an app designed by PSWs and client partners at VHA to increase recognition felt by PSWs. Emmelie’s recent work also focuses on understanding the underlying causes of high turnover rates among PSWs, which disrupts the continuity of client care. Overall, Emmelie is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of both clients and point-of-care providers.
