Nicole Moreira is a Research Associate with VHA Home HealthCare.

With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Windsor, Nicole focuses on occupational and mental health qualitative research where she brings a strengths-based perspective and a systems theory approach. Her most recent work looks to address the mental health and wellbeing of point-of-care providers, particularly through supporting home care nurse leadership.

Nicole’s passion lies in engaging clients, caregivers, and point-of-care providers as partners in the research process, where they can shape studies and initiatives by sharing their lived experiences and expertise.

Nicole manages VHA’s Research and Innovation Network and sits on VHA’s Client Voice Steering Committee.
