VHA Playdate has been an overwhelming success, with a handful of sessions bringing great memories and welcomed respite to families of children with complex medical needs. However, we still haven’t secured long-term funding to keep this important initiative going regularly.

• Staff to help the kids play, ensure their safety and to give parents peace of mind (each child has support from one PSW, an Occupational Therapist leads activities and three nurses are on hand in case of a medical event)
• Rental of a fully accessible space to play in
• Specialists in music therapy, art activities and other special guests
• Art and music supplies
