Virtual Care at VHA Home HealthCare
VHA Home HealthCare’s dedicated service providers partner with clients and their families to determine the best approach for providing care for each unique client situation. Virtual Care services are conveniently provided by telephone and/or by video either with a smartphone, tablet or computer and enable clients to work with their service providers remotely to reach their goals.
In many situations and depending on the needs and preferences of each client and family, VHA Virtual Care can be used in combination with in-person visits.

New to Virtual Care?
Are you or your loved one a new virtual care client at VHA Home HealthCare? VHA Home HealthCare provides a Welcome Package to all of our new clients and families (Download PDF) to introduce our services and to provide information about our care. Please note that if you are a client in London or Ottawa (under our Champlain Rehab Solutions branch), your Welcome Package may vary slightly based on the services offered in your area

Virtual Care Self-Assessment Tool
This self-assessment is intended to help give you an idea of whether virtual care might be an appropriate way for you or your loved one to receive some health care services from VHA Home HealthCare. This assessment will take about 1-2 minutes to complete and consists of 5-6 questions (depending on your responses).
Please note, decisions regarding virtual care requires a collaborative discussion between you and your care provider. Your care provider will work with you to determine if virtual care is appropriate for all or part of your healthcare services.
